Bundled up for Waffle Breakfast

It's a bright & clear blue sky morning here at camp. Just finished up with breakfast and the cabin groups are busy cleaning their bunks, heading off to the showers, and getting packed for a day on the trail. They will meet with their daytime field groups at 10:15 then head out until 4:15.

The first morning here is always the most amusing with stories of snoring, sleep talking, and other middle-of-the-night distractions from sleep. Though the group was surprisingly chipper as they stumbled into the dining hall bundled up. The best story was from one of the boys cabins that had a 6 am wake-up to head off to the showers before breakfast... it was pitch black, freezing cold, kids were groggy and half-asleep, and it was the longest walk ever taken. Fortunately the kids aren't prone to the dramatic. (This morning the girls showered after breakfast.)
